Children can attend a kinder program at either a (which is also called a childcare centre) or at a (which is also called a sessional kinder service).
A centre can offer a full day of education and care, including a kinder program. The teacher-led kinder program is integrated with additional hours of education and care. At a , a kinder program will operate on certain days and at specific times. These days and hours are set by the kinder service.
The best start for Victorian children means Free Kinder programs for all three and four-year-old children at participating services. The costs for each program will differ based on the type of kinder program you choose.
